Dear Tabby,

What do if I am pulled over by a police officer? How should I act and say?

Sincerely,

New Driver

Dear New Driver,

Even if you have been driving for 20 years, seeing those light flash will still scare you. When the officer pulls you over and approaches your car, just be respectful and cooperative. Cops are just trying to keep the roads safe by doing their job. If the cop is rude and impatient, just be polite and try to make their job easier. Drive safe!

Sincerely,

Tabby

Dear Tabby,

I didn’t do so well in school last semester and I am worried that when my parents look at my report card they’ll be mad at me. What can I do to soften their reactions?

Sincerely,

Struggling Student

Dear Struggling Student,

In the future if you want your parents to be happy with seeing your report card then get better grades. But for now all you can do is inform your parents that you didn’t get great grades and just sit down and let them express their frustration towards your report card. Encourage your parents to look on Skyward so they know in advance if you are struggling. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”- Teacher.

Listen to what they have to say and try to apply what they say to your grades now and in the future. Good Luck!

Sincerely,

Tabby
